the hampton inn offered a large, clean room and a good breakfast, including omelets and a variety of hot items. it's also a short walk to the university hospital, which was very convenient. i appreciated the friendly staff, especially lenora and janice. the gym was a nice perk too.

i think it's a bit unfair to pay for parking when there's a lot available.

The location was perfect for our winery tours and visiting Scott Stadium. The breakfast was solid and the rooms were tidy. Make sure you arrive early for breakfast on busy days to avoid running out of food options.

Comfortable stay with kind, welcoming staff!

I enjoyed the location of the hotel, being so close to UVA and the Downtown Mall. Staff members were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. My room was clean and comfortable, which made relaxing easy. Breakfast options were decent, although some items were just okay. I did encounter noise disturbances due to renovations during my stay, and the check-in process was a bit chaotic when I received a key to an already occupied room. On top of that, I had issues with parking fees, which seemed unnecessary since the hotel has a parking lot. Overall, I appreciated the guest communication through texts, which felt personal. However, the renovations and check-in issues dampened the experience somewhat.

Great place for a chill stay

First off, the breakfast here was solid. I mean, fresh waffles and a decent spread of options, I was impressed. The staff? They were helpful, couldn't have asked for better. I even needed a little help with some uh. Personal business and they were right on it.

Now, don't get me wrong it wasn’t exactly cheap, but it was alright.
